Build and manage code workflows

Use `create_workflow` to define an automation that handles repetitive build steps. You can then execute it by triggering the workflow, or you can modify its behavior using `enable_workflow`. Cline treats these defined processes like any other component in your project.

Monitor execution results and errors

When a task runs, check the outcome with `list_executions` to see status codes. If you find an error, don't restart from scratch; use `retry_execution`. You can also pull detailed logs using `list_logs` for deep debugging.

Inspect and list existing automation components

To see what’s available, run `list_workflows` to view all defined processes. Need details on a specific flow? Use `get_workflow`. You can also check the current status of connectivity with `check_workload_status` before starting any build.

Common questions about Workload MCP in Cline

The Workload server lets you automate non-coding, repetitive tasks that support your development workflow. For instance, it can automatically run deployment checks or data cleanup scripts.
Yes. If an automated build fails, use `list_logs` to get the full stack trace and error message. This lets you fix the underlying process without needing manual intervention.
This MCP Server handles connectivity information, specifically managing API keys and endpoint details required to run external services that support your code build.
The `list_connections` tool shows you which external APIs or data sources are available. This is crucial for ensuring all dependencies needed for a new feature are connected and ready to use.
You can run `get_connection` to validate the existing credentials. This confirms that your code won't break when you commit and push changes.
