Connect Xero MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Xero to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fetch Invoice Structures for Components
The `get_invoice_details` tool lets you fetch the full, structured details of a single Xero invoice. This is ideal when writing components that need to display line items or specific customer tax codes. Your agent can take this JSON output and use it to scaffold out the necessary data models for your front-end code, saving you boilerplate time.
Model Contact Lists
`list_xero_contacts` pulls all customer and supplier records into a structured format. You can feed this list directly to Cline to generate the TypeScript interface definitions your component needs. This ensures that when you build code, it's using the exact expected data structure from Xero, eliminating runtime type errors.
Query Chart of Accounts Data
`list_chart_of_accounts` gives you a clean list of every account available in your Xero setup. You can use this to build dropdown menus or filter controls in your dashboard components. It’s structured data ready for consumption. Cline writes the necessary boilerplate logic—like an async fetch wrapper—around this endpoint immediately.
