How to Use the Zendesk MCP in Cursor
Write code that uses live Zendesk data directly within Cursor's Agent mode.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Zendesk MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Zendesk to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Fetch specific user details from Zendesk
Use `get_user` to pull all the required fields for a single Zendesk account user. When your agent client runs this, it gets the raw data payload that you can immediately reference in your code block. This is way better than using mock stubs. The AI generates working Python or JavaScript that uses real API responses from Zendesk.
List all defined support organizations
Calling `list_organizations` returns every organizational unit set up in your Zendesk instance. You can write code that loops through these IDs to check which ones need configuration. The output data structure is clean, making it easy for the AI to consume and build logic around.
Search tickets using advanced filters
The `search_tickets` tool lets you filter Zendesk records with specific syntax like 'status:open tags:escalation'. The live results get injected right into your code, giving it context. You can write a script that processes only the most urgent or highest-priority tickets without writing complex API calls.
