Connect Zendesk MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Zendesk to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Support Automation with Zendesk MCP Server
The `list_tickets` tool fetches a complete list of every support ticket in the account. You don't need to write multi-step code; Windsurf just knows how to gather all ticket IDs, then use those IDs to run more specific actions. You can also call `search_tickets`, which uses Zendesk's native search syntax (like 'type:ticket status:open tags:escalation') to drill down instantly. This means you get the right context without manually filtering data.
Manage System Context using Zendesk MCP Server
The `list_organizations` tool shows every organization defined in your Zendesk instance. Knowing these IDs lets your agent set up multi-tenant logic for specific client groups. Need to know who's on the team? Use `list_users` or `get_user`. You can retrieve details for any customer or agent, giving Windsurf the profile data it needs to route tickets correctly.
Gathering Support Assets with Zendesk MCP Server
The `list_macros` tool shows every canned response available in your system. This is key for agents because you can instantly know what quick replies are usable when building an automation flow. You also get access to `list_groups`, which lists all support agent groups. Windsurf uses this data to confirm permissions and ensure that the automated actions it's taking actually belong to a valid team.
