Connect ZenHub MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect ZenHub to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write code based on current sprint epics.
Need to start coding a new feature? First, use `list_repo_epics` to pull the list of relevant ZenHub epics. The AI then uses that live data—not stubs—to generate scaffolding or function signatures directly into your file. You can confirm scope immediately by using `get_epic_data`. This pulls all the necessary details, so you're writing code against a concrete set of requirements.
Estimate complexity before committing code.
Before writing any API wrapper or complex logic, use `set_issue_estimate` to get the story point count. The AI integrates this number into your code comments or planning variables automatically. It's a quick way to make sure your implementation aligns with the agreed-upon effort level for that issue.
Build logic around board statuses.
If your code needs to check if an issue is ready to deploy, call `get_zenhub_issue_data`. This gives you granular status flags. The agent uses this live context to build conditional logic into the function. Similarly, use `move_issue_between_pipelines` when writing deployment scripts; the AI ensures the code handles the state change correctly.
