Connect Zilliz Cloud MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Zilliz Cloud to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build components using vector search results.
Cline uses `search_vectors` to pull relevant data directly into your workspace. You can tell it, 'Find me all documents about X,' and the agent pulls those vectors for you. It's useful for writing tests because it lets you query existing knowledge bases using `query_entities`, ensuring your code matches current documentation.
Set up new data sources automatically.
When a task requires a new data store, Cline calls `create_collection`. The agent handles the JSON body requirements, meaning you don't have to write boilerplate setup code. If your project scope changes, it can also run `drop_collection` to eliminate outdated or temporary vector stores.
Manage data persistence during coding.
The agent uses `insert_entities` to stage new data into a collection as part of its workflow. It's the perfect mechanism for populating a knowledge base before testing. To keep things running fast, it can also use `load_collection` and `release_collection`, making sure memory usage is always optimized.
