Connect Zoho Desk MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Zoho Desk to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate Support Workflows
The `update_ticket` tool lets you programmatically change ticket status or reassign tickets. You can write a script that iterates over open records found via `list_tickets` and then executes the necessary updates. Cline handles this end-to-end. You tell it: 'Write a Python function that finds all pending tickets in Department X and sets their priority to Medium.' It writes the code, imports the library, and stages the commit.
Gather Customer Context
Start by calling `get_contact` to pull specific customer details before any action. This returns basic contact data you need for validation. If the user account is complex, Cline can chain this with `list_accounts`. It pulls the organization's website and industry, giving your script all the metadata required to build a robust API endpoint that validates against Zoho Desk.
Create Support Records
To open a new case, use `create_ticket`, passing in mandatory fields like subject, contact ID, and department ID. You can also optionally set the priority or classification when writing this function. Cline's power is seeing the whole picture. It lets you write code that first calls `list_departments` to get a valid ID, then uses that ID with `create_ticket`, all within one script execution.
