Live ticket management with MCP Server
Writing a script that needs to respond to a customer? You can't use mock data. The `get_ticket` tool fetches real history, which you write directly into your code. Similarly, when creating records, the `create_contact` tool generates live IDs you need for subsequent calls. You’ll also use the `update_ticket` function to programmatically change status or reassign tickets as part of a workflow.
Getting context from Zoho Desk
Need customer details before writing code? Call `get_contact` and inject that contact's name or phone number directly into the script. For broader insight, you can run `list_accounts` to pull organization data—industry, website, etc. It helps your agent mode generate accurate functions for anything from listing all open tickets via `list_tickets` to finding specific issues using `search_tickets`.
Building internal collaboration tools with MCP Server
Writing an internal tool that needs to track escalation notes? Use the `add_note` function. This ensures sensitive agent context gets recorded without ever exposing it in a customer-facing reply. When sending official responses, use `add_reply`. The resulting HTML format can be passed straight into your code for structured output.
