Key Capabilities

Run compliance checks in Claude Code

You don't need a UI to check if your application is logging consent to Openli. Drop into your terminal and tell your agent to run `list_consents`. It pulls the recent records and pipes the output into your terminal for immediate review. If something looks wrong, it digs deeper. It runs `list_audit_logs` to trace exactly when a policy changed or a request failed. You get the raw compliance data without leaving your shell session.

Headless Openli MCP Server workflows

Handling Openli data deletion requests should be an automated script, not a manual chore. You can write a bash script that uses Claude Code to poll `list_dsars` on a cron schedule. When a new request hits, the agent fetches the details with `get_dsar`, identifies the user, and triggers your internal database wipe. It then updates the server, closing the loop entirely in the background.

Manage third-party vendors via CLI

Before deploying a new integration, you need to know if the vendor is approved in Openli. Your agent runs `list_vendors` to check your active directory. If the vendor is missing, it can immediately run `create_agreement` to draft the required data processing terms. It checks `check_openli_status` first to ensure the API is reachable, keeping your deployment pipeline moving.

Common questions about Openli MCP in Claude Code

Run `claude mcp add --transport http openli -- `. Make sure you put the transport flags before the server name. Verify the installation with `claude mcp list`.
It can. You just ask the CLI to fetch the latest events. It executes `list_audit_logs` and formats the JSON response into a readable terminal output.
Yes. You can run it inside a GitHub Action or a Docker container. The agent handles the authentication and executes tools like `save_consent` without any user interaction.
Tell your agent to fetch the document. It uses `list_agreements` to find the ID, then runs `get_agreement` to print the exact policy text directly to your standard output.
This server handles sensitive Data Subject Access Requests containing personal user identifiers. The MCP architecture enforces ephemeral connections, meaning your terminal agent pulls the ticket via `get_dsar`, processes the deletion, and drops the data from memory immediately after the shell session ends.
