Key Capabilities

Query Assets Directly from the Terminal

`list_assets` outputs your media library data as clean JSON that you can pipe into other CLI utilities. Claude Code executes the query and lets you filter assets by collection IDs without leaving your shell. You can use `get_asset` to fetch detailed file metadata instantly. This allows you to inspect asset attributes, file paths, and tags directly from your terminal session.

Automate Directory Management via MCP Server

`create_collection` lets you build media directories right from your command line. Claude Code runs this command to set up staging folders for automated upload pipelines. If a deploy fails or a collection is no longer needed, Claude Code runs `delete_collection` to clean up the remote workspace. It keeps your remote media library in sync with your local directory structure.

Bulk Update Metadata and Tags

`update_asset` enables fast, programmatic metadata updates via this MCP integration. Claude Code can run a loop to apply tags, update descriptions, or change custom fields on hundreds of assets. To ensure audit compliance, Claude Code uses `list_revisions` to verify file changes. It lets you track who updated what and when, directly within your terminal logging tools.
