Key Capabilities
Automate Asset Workflows in Windsurf
`list_assets` lets Cascade scan your media library to find files that need updates. Cascade runs this tool, checks the returned asset details, and prepares a plan to organize them without waiting for your manual confirmation. Once Cascade identifies the target files, this MCP Server can use `update_asset` to write tags or update metadata fields in one continuous operation. You get your assets updated in seconds instead of clicking through a web interface.
Structure Collections with Cascade
`create_collection` allows this MCP Server to build new directories for your creative teams on the fly. Cascade can automatically group assets by running `list_collections` to find existing structures, then creating new nodes based on your current project files. If a folder becomes obsolete, Cascade runs `delete_collection` to clean up your workspace. This keeps your Pics.io library organized without manual file management.
Track Revisions and Feedback
`list_revisions` exposes the history of your digital assets to Cascade so you can track changes over time. Your agent checks previous versions and compares them to ensure you are working with the correct file. Cascade uses `add_comment` to post feedback or log automated status updates directly to the asset. It can also pull existing feedback with `list_comments` to summarize team requests and execute edits based on those notes.
