Key Capabilities
Run Autonomous API Audits in Windsurf
The `list_workspaces` tool gives Windsurf immediate access to your team's organizational structure. From there, Cascade does not wait for step-by-step permission; it automatically triggers `get_workspace_details` to map out every single endpoint in the selected workspace. This autonomous execution saves you from manually copying Postman API schemas. Cascade chains these tools to analyze your endpoints, comparing live schemas directly against your local code files inside the IDE.
Sync Environments Directly to Cascade
The `list_environments` tool lets your Windsurf client discover active configuration sets across your staging and production setups. Once identified, Cascade calls `get_environment_details` to grab the exact variables required for your current debug session. You do not need to hunt down missing environment variables or manually paste them into local config files. The agent reads the values directly through this MCP Server connection and configures your local runtimes on the fly.
Auto-Heal Mock Responses via Windsurf MCP Server
The `list_mocks` tool exposes all active mock servers directly to Windsurf so Cascade can evaluate simulated responses. If a mock schema drifts from your production code, Cascade calls `get_collection_details` to pull the ground truth definition. The agent then writes the necessary code fixes to align your local components with the updated collection definitions. This eliminates manual API validation loops entirely during rapid local development.
