Key Capabilities
Build components using live Prismic schemas in Cursor
Stop writing mock data for your React or Next.js components inside the Cursor editor. When you write code in Cursor, your agent can call `list_custom_types` to pull the exact JSON structure of your Prismic content models directly into your workspace. This means the Cursor editor writes TypeScript interfaces that match your actual Prismic fields. You don't have to guess if a Prismic field is a Rich Text block or a simple key-value pair because `get_query_form_schema` provides the exact validation rules inside your Cursor chat.
Run live queries while coding with this MCP Server
Test your frontend queries against actual production Prismic data before you deploy from Cursor. This MCP Server lets Cursor run `query_prismic_documents` to fetch real API payloads and inject them directly into your active code files or mock files. If you are building a dynamic routing system, the Cursor agent uses `list_documents_by_type` to map out all Prismic slug paths. It gives you immediate feedback inside Cursor on whether your dynamic imports will break on specific document structures.
Debug localization and tags in the Cursor terminal
Don't let broken locale paths break your build inside the Cursor terminal. The Cursor agent calls `list_i18n_languages` and `search_filtered_locale` to verify that your localized routes match the actual languages configured in your Prismic repository. You can also clean up messy taxonomy files by having the Cursor agent run `list_global_tags` to check every Prismic tag in use. It helps you find typos or unused Prismic tags that might be causing rendering bugs in your local Cursor workspace.
