Key Capabilities
Query content without writing code
This MCP Server lets Windsurf talk directly to your Prismic repository. Ask Cascade to find all blog posts with a certain tag, and it will use `list_documents_by_tag` to get them. You don't have to look up API docs or write a single line of code. It's not just about tags. You can ask for a specific document by its name or ID, and Cascade will find the right tool for the job, like `get_document_by_id`. Windsurf's agent figures out the plan, runs the tools, and gives you the content.
Build multi-language features with Cascade
Tell Cascade you need to show content in German. It will use `list_i18n_languages` to check if 'de-de' is a configured locale in your Prismic repo. If it is, Cascade can then use `search_filtered_locale` to pull the correct versions of your documents. This is how you build localized features without manual steps. Cascade chains the tools together in one autonomous sequence. It discovers the languages and then fetches the content, all from a single instruction.
Instantly understand your content model
Before you build, you need to know what you're working with. Ask Windsurf to describe the content model for your project. It will use `list_custom_types` to get a list of all your templates, like 'blog_post' or 'landing_page'. Cascade can also get a high-level view of your entire repository. With `get_repo_metadata`, it can see all available document types, languages, and tags. This gives your agent the context it needs to execute more complex tasks correctly.
