Key Capabilities

Automating Lead Qualification Flows

The `list_taskforce_leads` tool pulls raw lead data. You can build a multi-step agent that first filters leads by status, then uses the `get_taskforce_lead` tool to pull specifics for qualification scoring. This sequence allows your AI client to decide the next step—send a quote using `list_taskforce_quotes`, or flag the lead as needing manual follow-up. The output of one step directly feeds the logic gate for the next.

Managing Full Customer Lifecycle Pipelines

Start by calling `get_taskforce_customer` to gather all existing data points on an account. Then, if a new need arises, you can use `create_taskforce_case`. This pattern lets your agent build a complete record of interaction. Finally, the client can chain this by listing related financial activity using `list_taskforce_invoices` or generating a proposal via `list_taskforce_quotes`, all in one continuous execution.

Creating and Tracking New Opportunities

`create_taskforce_lead` handles the initial entry of new contacts into your system. Once created, you can use this information to trigger a full workflow that includes generating preliminary documents. The agent can then call `list_taskforce_cases` to track the resulting operational needs and immediately follow up with `create_taskforce_case`, ensuring no potential opportunity falls through the cracks.

Setup guide

Set up TaskForce MCP in LangChain

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • langchain-mcp-adapters + langgraph packages
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install dependencies

    Run pip install langchain-mcp-adapters langgraph langchain-openai. The MCP adapters package converts MCP tools into native LangChain BaseTool objects.

  2. 2

    Connect via HTTP transport

    Use MultiServerMCPClient with "transport": "http" pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create a ReAct agent

    Pass the discovered tools to create_react_agent() from LangGraph. The agent automatically routes TaskForce tool calls through the MCP protocol.

  4. 4

    Run with any LLM

    Swap ChatOpenAI for ChatAnthropic, ChatGoogleGenerativeAI, or any LangChain-compatible model. The MCP tools work identically across all providers.

agent.py
from langchain_mcp_adapters.client import MultiServerMCPClient
from langgraph.prebuilt import create_react_agent
from langchain_openai import ChatOpenAI

async with MultiServerMCPClient({
    "taskforce-mcp": {
        "transport": "http",
        "url": "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp",
    }
}) as client:
    tools = client.get_tools()

    agent = create_react_agent(
        ChatOpenAI(model="gpt-4o"),
        tools,
    )
    result = await agent.ainvoke({
        "messages": "List recent TaskForce transactions"
    })
    print(result["messages"][-1].content)

Common questions about TaskForce MCP in LangChain

You chain tools together. Your agent first calls `list_taskforce_leads` to get a batch of contacts. Then, based on the data returned, it decides whether to call `get_taskforce_lead` or initiate a case using `create_taskforce_case`.
Always pull related records first. Use `list_taskforce_customers` to get basic info, then chain that into calls like `list_taskforce_invoices` or `list_taskforce_quotes`. This gives the agent all context needed for a smart decision.
First, retrieve customer details using `get_taskforce_customer`. Next, pass that ID to the agent. The agent will then call `list_taskforce_quotes` to generate a draft, which you can review or use as input for another action.
Absolutely. You can build a chain that starts by listing all active cases (`list_taskforce_cases`) and then filters them based on the outcome of other tools, like checking associated leads.
It touches customer details, lead records, case information, invoices, and quotes. Be sure your agent only accesses the specific fields necessary for the task at hand.
