Automate target scanning using Cline and this MCP Server
Cline doesn't just tell you about security; it actively runs your defense. The agent uses `launch_scan` to start a web vulnerability audit on your test environment while you focus on building features. Because Cline runs end-to-end tasks, it waits for the scan to finish, grabs the report, and alerts you if any high-severity issues pop up.
Let Cline read live vulnerability feeds
Get a real-time list of security issues without opening a browser. Cline calls `list_vulnerabilities` to fetch current flaws directly into your VS Code sidebar. The agent parses the vulnerability details, finds the corresponding backend route in your workspace, and suggests the exact code change needed to resolve it.
Monitor running security tasks
Keep track of active security audits using `list_scans`. Cline queries your scan history to see if a scan is pending, running, or failed. This keeps your security pipeline transparent. You can ask Cline for a quick status update on your latest scan, and it will pull the exact progress metrics.
