…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Acunetix 360 MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Acunetix 360 to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Trigger Scans Mid-Code via MCP Server
The `launch_scan` tool lets Cursor kick off a security test the moment you finish writing a new feature. You tell the agent to test your local branch, and it hits the Acunetix 360 API. You never leave your editor to start a compliance check. Waiting for a security team to approve a build takes too long. Your AI client handles the request in the background while you keep typing. It drops a notification in the chat panel when the target is actively being probed.
Monitor Active Scans from Cursor
Firing the `list_scans` tool brings your entire testing queue straight into your IDE. Cursor reads the status of every Acunetix 360 job to see if your recent commits passed. You get real-time feedback on what broke. This MCP Server bridges the gap between writing code and testing it. If a scan hangs, the agent pulls the error logs and displays them next to your terminal. You fix the issue and push the fix immediately.
Patch Vulnerabilities with Context
Pulling the `list_vulnerabilities` tool feeds exact threat payloads into Cursor. The agent sees the specific SQL injection or XSS flaw Acunetix 360 found. It immediately writes a patch for the exact line of code that caused the problem. Context switching kills developer momentum. Having the AI read the CVE details and apply the fix directly to your open file changes everything. You review the diff, accept the changes, and close the ticket.
