Review test batches inside Claude Desktop
Visual testing generates massive amounts of data when you push a UI update. Digging through web dashboards to find which specific tests failed wastes time. You just want the summary statistics so you know if a build is actually broken or if it caught expected changes. Your AI agent handles this by running `list_batches` to grab recent test runs. Once it spots a failure, it pulls the exact numbers using `get_batch_stats`. You see exactly how many tests passed, failed, or remain unresolved without leaving your chat window.
Manage visual baselines via MCP Server
UI redesigns intentionally break visual tests. When you ship a new navigation bar, every single page baseline becomes outdated instantly. Manually accepting these changes across hundreds of tests is tedious work that nobody enjoys doing. Claude can do the cleanup for you. It checks current visual states with `list_baselines` and compares them against specific git branches using `list_branch_baselines`. When you confirm the new design is correct, the agent clears out the old reference images via `delete_baseline`.
Deep dive into specific session failures
Sometimes an Applitools batch fails because of one flaky test environment. You need to know exactly which operating system or browser combination caused the visual mismatch. Grabbing that specific session data usually means clicking through multiple nested menus. Pass the batch ID to your AI client, and it pulls the exact test details using `get_session`. If things look completely wrong and the run is garbage, you can even have it wipe the entire record with `delete_batch`.
