Auto-fix visual regressions with Cline and Applitools
The `list_results` tool retrieves the specific visual test failures from your latest Applitools run so Cline can analyze them. Cline reads the failure details, locates the corresponding React or HTML files in your VS Code workspace, and writes the code fix. After applying the fix, Cline uses `validate_key` to ensure your environment is ready to trigger a new Applitools run. This MCP Server lets you automate the entire cycle of finding, fixing, and verifying visual bugs.
Sync branch baselines using this MCP Server
Your Cline agent uses `list_branch_baselines` to inspect the visual states associated with your current Applitools branch. When Cline creates a new feature branch, it checks these baselines to see if your visual tests match the target branch. If the layout changes are intentional, Cline runs `delete_baseline` on the outdated Applitools baselines to prevent false positives in your pipeline. This keeps your branch test runs green.
Purge test batches directly through Cline
The `delete_batch` tool allows Cline to remove unwanted or accidental Applitools test runs from your Eyes dashboard. If Cline triggers an incorrect test run during local debugging, it's easy to clean up the dashboard immediately. This prevents messy Applitools histories and saves your team from reviewing invalid visual runs. Cline handles this cleanup autonomously as part of its task execution loop.
