Run headless content migrations via this MCP Server

The `create_ans_content` tool allows Claude Code to ingest local markdown files and batch-import them directly into the CMS. From your terminal, you can pipe a directory of files straight to the agent. Claude Code parses the files, formats them to fit the strict Arc Native Schema, and pushes them to the API. It prints real-time status updates directly to your standard output.

CLI-driven article search and bulk editing

Running bulk search and replace operations across your publication is driven by `search_ans_content` and `update_ans_content`. Claude Code queries the API for matching articles, applies your terminal regex patterns, and pushes the updates. This lets you fix broken links, update brand names, or correct typos across hundreds of live articles using simple CLI commands. You don't need to open a web browser once.

Terminal-based media and author lookups

Inspecting media assets and author metadata is handled via `get_video_asset` and `get_content_author`. Claude Code fetches the raw JSON payloads and formats them as clean terminal output for quick inspection. You can easily pipe these JSON payloads to local command-line utilities like jq. This makes it simple to integrate your assets into shell scripts or cron jobs.

Common questions about ArcXP MCP in Claude Code

Run the command `claude mcp add --transport http arcxp-mcp -- ` in your terminal. Make sure all flags are placed before the server name, and verify the installation using `claude mcp list`.
Yes. You can trigger Claude Code inside a headless environment or CI/CD pipeline to run scripts that fetch, update, and publish content using `update_ans_content` and `create_ans_content`.
When an API call fails, Claude Code prints the raw error payload returned by tools like `get_ans_content` directly to your terminal. This allows you to debug schema mismatches or authorization issues instantly.
You can invoke `delete_ans_content` through Claude Code, but you should run it with strict confirmation prompts enabled. This prevents accidental deletion of production datacenter assets.
Your Arc XP credentials are saved locally in your `~/.claude.json` configuration file. The Vinkius MCP Server acts as an ephemeral proxy, ensuring your tokens and editorial text are never cached on external servers.
