Build document workflows in VS Code
Aspose.Words turns your editor into a document processing engine. Cline doesn't just suggest code for handling files, it actually builds the output. Ask your agent to generate a standardized contract template. It will use `replace_text_in_document` to swap placeholder names with real client data. Then it runs `convert_document` to spit out a pristine PDF. You check the diff in your workspace, approve the change, and move on.
Clean up revisions via MCP Server
Lawyers and clients leave endless tracked changes scattered across drafts. Cline clears them out in seconds. The agent targets the file and executes `accept_all_revisions` to strip the redlines automatically. Once the file is clean, security matters. Cline calls `protect_document` to lock the finalized version. You get a ready-to-ship contract without leaving your IDE.
Break apart massive reports
Giant documentation files choke up repositories. Tell Cline to break them down. It triggers `split_document` to divide a monolithic manual into manageable, single-page chunks. After the split, you might need to brand them. The agent uses `add_watermark` to stamp a draft warning across the new files. It even pulls `get_document_statistics` to verify page counts when the job finishes.
