Batch Word conversions inside Windsurf
Aspose.Words gives your IDE the ability to read and change document formats. You ask Cascade to prep a batch of files for a client review. It runs `list_cloud_files` to find every DOCX in the target directory. Then the agent loops through the list using `convert_document` to output PDFs. Nobody clicked save-as fifty times. Windsurf just did the work while you grabbed coffee.
Accept tracked changes via MCP Server
Dealing with heavily edited contracts usually means scrolling through hundreds of comments. Cascade bypasses the UI completely. Tell it to finalize a draft, and it triggers `accept_all_revisions` to clean up the markup instantly. Next, the agent locks the file down. It fires `protect_document` to prevent further edits before sending it out. You get a clean, read-only file ready for signatures without ever opening Microsoft Word.
Slice massive files into pages
Sometimes you only need one section of a massive corporate report. Windsurf can break it apart. Cascade executes `split_document` to separate a hundred-page file into individual assets. Maybe those pages need a confidential stamp. The agent follows up with `add_watermark` across the newly created files. Your workspace updates with the stamped pages right before your eyes.
