Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Calibre-Web MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Calibre-Web to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Navigate your library with Windsurf
Cascade uses `get_opds_catalog` to map out your entire book collection. It pulls the structure from your server so you can find what you need without leaving the editor. Once Cascade has the catalog, it displays the contents right in your sidebar. You stop digging through web tabs and start searching your files through the agent.
Target specific shelves in Windsurf
Call `get_opds_shelf` to isolate specific collections or reading lists. You tell Cascade which shelf to open, and it pulls the metadata for those books instantly. This keeps your context window clean. You only load the book data that matters for your current task.
Automate Kobo syncing in Windsurf
Trigger `sync_kobo_library` when you need to push updates to your device. Cascade handles the handshake with your Kobo token while you focus on your code. It runs the sync sequence in the background. You get a confirmation in the terminal output once the transfer finishes.
