Incident Triage with Windsurf and Datadog MCP Server
Cascade inspects active Datadog alerts directly in your Windsurf session. It triggers `list_incidents` to find active fires, pulls context with `get_incident`, and digs into logs using `search_logs` to pinpoint the failing container. This MCP Server lets your Windsurf agent find the exact line of code causing the Datadog metric spike and draft a patch in your workspace. You do not have to copy-paste error messages back and forth.
Automated metric analysis and graphing in Windsurf
Cascade pulls raw Datadog telemetry straight to your Windsurf editor panel. The agent runs `list_metrics` to find the database throughput counter, then executes `query_metrics` to check for anomalies. Windsurf handles the Datadog data parsing and renders the timeline right inside your Cascade chat window. You see the cloud performance drop-off exactly when the bad local commit went live.
Live Datadog monitor silencing during local runs
Stop annoying your team with false Datadog alerts when you run local stress tests in Windsurf. Cascade automatically calls `mute_monitor` using this MCP server before you kick off a heavy test suite. The Windsurf agent verifies the alert state with `get_monitor` and unmutes it once your terminal runs clear. Your team never gets woke up by a local dev loop.
