How to Use the Deputy MCP in Claude Code
Pipe live Deputy schedules directly into your terminal workflows using this Claude Code MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Deputy MCP to Claude Code
Create your Vinkius account to connect Deputy to Claude Code and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Run terminal audits via MCP Server
Stop building custom Python scripts just to check who missed their shift. From your terminal, you tell Claude Code to find absent workers. It triggers `list_currently_active_shifts` and compares it to your expected roster. The CLI agent processes the JSON output and pipes a clean text summary right to your standard out. You get immediate visibility into workforce attendance without ever opening a web browser.
Sync staff directories headlessly
Keeping your internal database aligned with HR is usually a headache. Run Claude Code in a cron job and have it execute `list_workforce_employees` every night at midnight. The agent grabs the full list, uses `search_employees_by_name` to find missing records, and generates a SQL migration file to update your local tables. It handles the API pagination entirely in the background.
Check leave balances in CI/CD
You can block deployments if key personnel are on vacation. Inject Claude Code into your GitHub Actions and have it query `list_leave_requests` before running a production build. If the lead DevOps engineer has an entry in `list_pending_leave_approvals` for today, the agent can automatically fail the pipeline and send a Slack alert. You control the logic strictly through bash commands.
