Connect Docdown MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Docdown to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct PDF generation from your VS Code editor
This MCP Server lets Cline build and execute document generation payloads without leaving your workspace. When you need a draft, the agent calls `generate_new_document` using context from your open files. The agent handles the raw API handshake directly. It takes your variables, structures the request, and returns the finished document URL right to your sidebar.
Schema inspection for Cline agents
This MCP integration lets the agent use `get_template_field_schema` to read the precise structure of any Docdown template. It checks required fields and types before sending data, preventing API rejection. If a template changes, the agent runs `get_template_details` to update its local understanding of the fields. You don't have to write validation code.
Active document pipeline monitoring
This tracking tool lets Cline monitor your active document queue using `get_document_status` and `list_generated_documents`. It checks the status of background generation tasks and downloads the files as soon as they are ready. It can also run `list_recently_generated_docs` to audit your document activity over the last 24 hours. You get a clean list of files generated during your coding session.
