Connect Docdown MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Docdown to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Autonomous template discovery for Windsurf
This MCP Server connects Windsurf directly to your Docdown template library. When you ask Cascade to prepare a document, it doesn't stop and ask you for IDs. It immediately invokes `search_templates_by_name` to find the target template, then calls `get_template_field_schema` to inspect the required variables. The agent handles the discovery work behind the scenes. It maps your natural language requests to the exact template schema, eliminating manual lookups and reducing API errors.
Instant document generation
This tool lets Cascade execute `generate_new_document` to build files directly from your workspace. It passes your raw data directly into the template fields without requiring you to format a single JSON payload manually. You get a direct download link immediately. If a generation fails due to missing fields, the agent automatically retries by calling `get_template_details` to verify the missing keys.
Real-time status tracking
This status tracking tool lets Cascade monitor your document pipeline. The agent triggers `get_document_status` and `list_recently_generated_docs` to watch the queue and alert you when processing completes. Instead of refreshing a browser dashboard, you watch the status update directly inside your IDE console. The entire MCP pipeline runs from a single prompt.
