Connect edX MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect edX to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate course discovery in Cline
Cline uses `search_courses` to scan the catalog for specific subjects or difficulty levels. It automates the entire discovery process without you needing to open a browser. It takes the raw search output and organizes it into a readable format. You tell Cline what you need to learn, and it handles the heavy lifting of finding the right institutional content.
Fetch deep institutional insights
The agent triggers `get_organizations` to identify which schools are leading in specific fields. It uses this data to narrow down your search to top-tier providers. By chaining these calls, Cline builds a comprehensive view of your learning options. It acts as a researcher that never gets tired of checking metadata.
Retrieve specific program details
Cline uses `get_program` to pull the full scope of complex offerings like Bootcamps and XSeries. It extracts the course count and description to verify if the program fits your goals. This prevents the need for manual checks. Cline verifies the details and presents them as a clear summary for your review.
