How to Use the Estimote MCP in Cursor
Inject live Estimote beacon data into your code using Cursor. Stop mocking hardware responses and start building with real telemetry.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Estimote MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Estimote to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cursor integration for Estimote beacon management
Feed live hardware state into your editor using `get_beacon_details`. You see the exact firmware version and shadow configuration currently active on the device. Use `list_beacon_devices` to pull your entire fleet into the context window. Your AI agent can now reference real MAC addresses and UUIDs while writing your proximity logic.
Real-time sensor data for Cursor projects
Access raw environment data with `get_beacon_telemetry` to test your occupancy algorithms against actual light and pressure readings. Analyze foot traffic patterns by calling `get_device_analytics` during your development flow. This allows you to tune your proximity thresholds based on real-world visitor data.
Programmatic fleet control within Cursor
Define new deployment sites using `create_physical_location` without leaving your IDE. You can script the setup of your entire retail footprint from your terminal. Update device tags via `assign_tag_to_beacon` to group hardware by campaign or location. It keeps your codebase aligned with your physical infrastructure layout.
