Headless ExerciseDB access in Claude Code

Run `get_all_exercises` directly from your terminal to verify API availability or dump data for a script. Claude Code executes these calls without a GUI, making it ideal for backend tasks. You can pipe the output into other CLI tools for processing. It handles the raw JSON responses, allowing for quick data validation in your CI/CD pipeline.

Scripted routine generation with ExerciseDB

Automate your database seeding by using Claude Code to call `get_exercises_by_target` in a sequence. It fetches the specific movements you need to build a consistent dataset for testing. The tool output is formatted for easy parsing in shell scripts. You can chain these calls to build complex fitness datasets without leaving your terminal session.

Terminal-based ExerciseDB querying

Query specific exercises using `get_exercise_by_id` to check metadata or GIF availability in real-time. Claude Code provides the full response directly in your terminal, letting you inspect the data immediately. This is essential for debugging your backend integration. The tool provides clear, actionable data that you can use to refine your application logic.
