…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Expensya MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Expensya to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate Code with Real Expensya Data in Cursor
The `list_expenses` tool feeds actual corporate spending records directly into your Cursor agent. Your editor writes and tests custom accounting scripts using live payloads instead of placeholder mock data. By referencing real transactions, your MCP tool builds accurate data parsers that handle edge cases before deployment. You avoid runtime errors caused by unexpected API response shapes.
Map Categories and Projects in the Editor
The `list_expense_categories` tool pulls active corporate categories directly into your coding environment. You write scripts that automatically match codebase modules to specific projects listed in `list_analytical_projects`. Your agent uses this live context to generate strict validation schemas for your internal apps. This ensures your custom tools always align with your current corporate accounting structure.
Automate Internal Expense Claims
The `create_new_expense` tool files development-related expenses without leaving your code files. When you buy an API subscription, you trigger a claim directly from your terminal or chat. Verifying the transaction against `list_payment_methods` ensures the correct card is billed. It keeps your development costs tracked without forcing you to open a browser.
