How to Use the Fivetran MCP in Claude Code
Claude Code runs headless Fivetran operations, allowing you to monitor syncs and audit accounts via terminal commands.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Fivetran MCP to Claude Code
Create your Vinkius account to connect Fivetran to Claude Code and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Claude Code monitors Fivetran sync status
Run a script that triggers `list_groups` and `list_connectors` to pull real-time data into your terminal. Claude Code processes the output, letting you pipe the results into other CLI tools for further analysis. When a sync fails, the agent calls `get_connector` to extract the error details. You get the raw status output directly in your shell, making it easy to spot issues in your CI/CD logs.
Audit Fivetran users via terminal
Use Claude Code to fetch your account roster with `list_users` and `list_teams`. It returns the list of members, which you can then format or export for security audits. This toolset lets you verify access levels without opening a browser. Claude Code handles the requests and displays the output in a clean format for quick review.
Check Fivetran destinations from the CLI
Claude Code calls `get_destination` for any group ID to confirm where your data is flowing. It retrieves the target configuration so you can verify your pipeline setup in a headless environment. Automate this check as part of your deployment process. If the destination configuration doesn't match your expected state, the agent reports the mismatch immediately.
