Connect Flock MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Flock to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Execute end-to-end tasks in Cline
Cline moves past simple Q&A. It acts on your behalf by using `channels_list_members` to verify active participants before triggering a `chat_send_message` operation. Whether you need to broadcast a deployment status or ping a specific group, Cline manages the entire process. It creates the message, attaches the relevant data, and confirms delivery in the chat interface.
Map your Flock organization with Cline
Visibility into your team is crucial for automated workflows. Cline uses `roster_list_directory` to index your entire company, mapping aliases to UUIDs for precise message routing. By leveraging `users_get_metadata`, the agent understands the identity context behind every user. It uses this information to ensure sensitive alerts are only directed to the appropriate group members.
Audit Flock group permissions via Cline
Security is not an afterthought when working with private data. Cline uses `groups_list_members` and `groups_get_info` to inspect IAM boundaries before attempting any write actions. This ensures that your automated tasks never violate internal access policies. The agent validates the group's metadata, confirming it has the necessary read and write permissions before proceeding.
