Set up Flystack MCP in Claude Web or Desktop

Open Claude Settings

Go to claude.ai, click your profile icon, then navigate to Customize → Connectors.

Add Custom Connector

Click the "+" button and select Add custom connector. Paste your Vinkius endpoint URL: https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. For OAuth-protected servers, expand Advanced settings to add credentials.

Open Claude Desktop Settings

Click the menu icon at the top-left corner, go to Settings → Developer → Edit Config. This opens claude_desktop_config.json in your default text editor.

Paste the Flystack MCP configuration

Copy the JSON snippet on the right into the mcpServers object. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

Restart Claude Desktop

Close and reopen the application. Claude needs a full restart to load new MCPs — refreshing a conversation is not enough.

Open your Claude Desktop configuration file and add the server configuration under the mcpServers key. Once you save the file and restart the application, the tools will appear in your chat window.

No, it cannot. The toolset is strictly read-only, allowing your agent to run `list_flystack_deployments` and gather diagnostics without any risk of accidental state changes or deletions.

This usually happens if your API token is invalid or if the network blocks the connection. Run `check_api_status` to verify if the server can reach the external endpoints.

Ask your agent to inspect a specific workload. The agent will call `get_deployment_details` with the deployment ID to fetch the current replica status and configuration details.
