Code with live FreeScout data in Cursor

The FreeScout MCP Server uses `list_mailboxes` and `get_mailbox` to pull live helpdesk structures straight into your editor. You can write your custom routing scripts while Agent mode inspects actual production mailbox IDs. Instead of hardcoding test payloads, the editor uses `get_conversation` to feed real customer ticket structures directly into your active workspace. This makes writing support integrations much faster.

Manage customer records while coding

This server uses `create_customer` to generate new FreeScout profiles directly from your Cursor workspace. You can test your signup-to-support sync pipelines inside the editor using real helpdesk API behaviors. If a test user changes their details, you run `update_customer` to modify the record in Cursor. You verify the FreeScout database state without leaving your active code file.

Inspect ticket threads in Cursor Agent Mode

This tool uses `list_threads` to grab the entire message history of any support ticket you are debugging. Your agent reads the raw thread structure to help you write accurate parsers. If you need to inject a test message, the server uses `add_reply` to send a live response. You see exactly how the FreeScout API formats outgoing text in real-time.
