How to Use the Front MCP in Cline
Cline handles your inbox tasks head-on. Connect this MCP server to manage Front messages and automate your support loop.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Front MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Front to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage shared inboxes with Cline
Cline can list your available inboxes using `list_shared_inboxes` and then drill down into specific threads with `list_inbox_threads`. It maps out your team's workload without you lifting a finger. Use `list_inbox_teammates` to see who is assigned where. This lets you coordinate responses based on real-time data from your account.
Direct reply execution in Cline
When you need to respond to a customer, Cline uses `send_inbox_reply` to push your text directly to the thread. It reads the previous messages with `list_conversation_messages` first to keep the context accurate. This keeps your communication moving fast. You define the logic, and the agent carries out the action in your inbox.
Verify your Front connection in Cline
Run `verify_api_status` to check your connection health. It confirms your API token is active and your agent can communicate with your inbox. Use `list_address_book` to get contact details for any user in your system. This makes it easy to look up information before you draft a reply.
