…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Front MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Front to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Debug customer issues in Cursor with Front context
When a customer reports a bug, you need the exact error report they emailed. This MCP Server lets your Cursor agent pull the Front conversation thread into your editor. By running `list_all_conversations` and `list_conversation_messages`, the editor gets the actual logs or steps to reproduce the issue. You don't have to copy-paste stack traces from Front to Cursor. Your agent reads the raw message body, matches it to your local files, and points you to the exact line of code causing the crash.
Automate Front inbox routing from the Cursor editor
Writing custom triaging scripts is faster when your AI editor can test them live. The MCP toolset lets Cursor query `list_shared_inboxes` and `get_inbox_details` to verify your team's routing rules against real-time Front states. The agent edits your backend routing code inside Cursor while validating the changes against live Front data. It ensures your custom assignment logic works perfectly before you commit the code.
Send test replies and update states inside Cursor
Verify your notification templates by sending real emails directly from your workspace. Using this MCP connection, Cursor calls `send_inbox_reply` to dispatch test messages to your staging address book in Front. Once sent, the Cursor editor verifies the thread's lifecycle using `update_conversation_status` to close or reopen the test ticket. This makes end-to-end integration testing of your communications pipeline fast and reliable.
