Gerrit MCP Server for VS Code
This integration lets Cline read your Gerrit instance directly. Tell it you need to fix a rejected patch, and it fires `get_change` to grab the exact feedback. It pulls the revision history using `list_patchsets` and starts editing your local files to match the requirements. You never have to switch contexts. The agent checks who is blocking the merge with `list_reviewers` and prepares the next commit. It handles the busywork while you focus on the actual code.
Instant project context
Setting up a new environment usually means digging through internal wikis to find the right repositories. Now you just ask Cline. It runs `list_projects` to find the target, then hits `get_project` to pull the exact configuration. Wrong branch names break builds. The agent avoids that by verifying everything against `list_branches` before it writes a single line of code.
Reviewer and group tracking
Figuring out which LDAP group owns a repository is annoying. This MCP Server solves that by dumping the access list via `list_groups`. It cross-references that with `get_account` to ensure you actually have permission to push. Finding the right person to tag takes two seconds. The agent queries the current review state using `query_changes` to see who usually approves PRs in that specific project.
