Connect HID Origo MCP to Claude Desktop
Create your Vinkius account to connect HID Origo to Claude Desktop and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Issue Mobile Credentials on the Fly
The `create_enrollment_invitation` tool sends a new mobile identity enrollment to a user. Just give your agent the `userId` and `partNumber` in a JSON object. You can get the user ID first by asking your agent to run `list_identity_users`. This completely replaces logging into a separate portal to provision a credential. You can check on the status later by using `list_identity_invitations` or `get_mobile_identity` for a specific user. It's a direct line into your access control system.
Audit Access with this MCP Server
The `get_audit_log_events` tool pulls the full history of administrative and access events from HID Origo. You can ask your agent in Claude Desktop to find out who accessed a specific door or check for failed enrollment attempts. Combine this with `list_access_readers` to get context on physical locations. This is how you investigate security incidents or troubleshoot access problems without leaving the chat interface. It's much faster than exporting CSVs from an admin panel.
Get User and Group Details
Use `get_user_details` to pull up a full profile for any user ID. This gives you the context you need before making changes, like issuing a new credential or revoking access. You can also map out your access policies by calling `list_identity_groups`. This MCP server lets you ask Claude to explain a user's permissions by checking their group memberships and then cross-referencing that with reader configurations.
