Debate event strategy with AutoGen

Assign one agent to `list_sessions` and another to `list_speakers` to simulate a planning committee. They compare the data and suggest an optimal agenda for your event. This setup allows agents to challenge each other's conclusions based on the API data. You get a decision that reflects multiple perspectives on event logistics.

Negotiate booth performance in AutoGen

Have your analysts use `get_booth_analytics` to flag underperforming areas while a strategy agent proposes improvements. They work together to define a path forward. This conversation framework ensures that your booth management is not a one-sided affair. Your agents reach a consensus based on the hard data retrieved from the server.

Verify organizer profiles with multi-agent checks

Task a security agent with calling `get_organizer_profile` while a verification agent reviews the event scope. They ensure the data matches your project requirements. You build systems where agents cross-check every piece of information. It forces a higher standard of accuracy before any final action is taken.

Setup guide

Set up Hubilo MCP in AutoGen

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install AutoGen with MCP

    Run pip install "autogen-ext[mcp]" autogen-agentchat. The MCP extension includes mcp_server_tools for stateless tool access.

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes Hubilo tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="Hubilo_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent Hubilo data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)

Common questions about Hubilo MCP in AutoGen

Pass the tool list generated by the MCP adapter to your AssistantAgent. The agents gain the ability to call these functions during their conversation.
Yes, they share access to the toolset. You decide which agent is responsible for specific operations like fetching event lists.
The agents debate the discrepancy. If one agent finds an error in a session list, it informs the group to prevent faulty decisions.
They use the token provided to the MCP server. You control the scope of their access via your API settings.
All attendee registration data is processed locally within your agent's memory. No records are shared with third parties or stored in persistent databases.
