Debate content priority in AutoGen

Let your research and filter agents discuss which articles to keep by using `list_stream_contents`. They can negotiate based on your preferences before you see a single headline. This process filters out noise before it reaches your main feed. The agents settle on a priority list that matches your current interests.

Negotiate organization with AutoGen agents

Use `list_tags` to let your agents see your current folder structure. They can debate how to rename folders or move items using `rename_tag` to keep things organized. Conflicts in your categorization are resolved through agent discussion. It ensures your tagging schema remains consistent across multiple sources.

Manage subscription health in AutoGen

Your maintenance agent can use `list_subscriptions` to find dead feeds. It then proposes removing them or adding new ones via `quick_add_subscription`. This keeps your information sources healthy and relevant. The system acts on your behalf once the agents reach a consensus on the changes.

  • autogen-ext[mcp] package
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

  2. 2

    Fetch tools from the MCP

    Call mcp_server_tools(SseServerParams(url=...)) with your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Run your agent

    Pass the tools to AssistantAgent and call agent.run(). The agent invokes Inoreader tools and returns structured results.

agent.py
from autogen_ext.tools.mcp import SseServerParams, mcp_server_tools
from autogen_agentchat.agents import AssistantAgent
from autogen_ext.models.openai import OpenAIChatCompletionClient

server_params = SseServerParams(
    url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
)

tools = await mcp_server_tools(server_params)

agent = AssistantAgent(
    name="Inoreader_assistant",
    model_client=OpenAIChatCompletionClient(model="gpt-4o"),
    tools=tools,
)

result = await agent.run("List recent Inoreader data")
print(result.messages[-1].content)
