How to Use the Inoreader MCP in Cline
Cline integrates Inoreader to help you automate feed management and article organization directly from your VS Code sidebar.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Inoreader MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Inoreader to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline handles your Inoreader subscriptions
Stop manual feed management and let Cline execute the heavy lifting. Use `list_subscriptions` to audit your current list and `quick_add_subscription` to bring in new sources instantly. Cline reads the responses and updates your project state without manual intervention. It makes maintaining a massive list of sources a background task.
Manage tags and folders via Cline
Structure your content flow by calling `list_tags` to see where your articles live. Use `edit_tag` to apply labels or `delete_tag` to remove obsolete folders when your focus changes. This keeps your research organized programmatically. You define the logic, and Cline applies it across your entire feed library.
Fetch and process articles with this MCP Server
Use `list_stream_contents` to grab data from any folder or tag. You can then ask Cline to process that text, summarize it, or save it to your local docs. Verify your status with `get_unread_counts` before you start a session. It ensures you only process what is actually new.
