How to Use the Intercom MCP in Cline
Cline gives your coding agent full control over Intercom data to build features and resolve issues faster.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Intercom MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Intercom to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline executes Intercom actions end-to-end
Cline doesn't just read data; it acts. When you need to pull a conversation history, `get_conversation` fetches the thread so the agent can build a fix based on real user feedback. After drafting code, use `reply_to_conversation` to send the solution back to the customer. It completes the loop without any manual copy-pasting.
Deep search for Intercom users with Cline
Finding specific contact information is trivial with `search_contacts`. You can filter by user criteria to find the right person in seconds. Once you have the user, `list_companies` helps you see their organizational context. This gives Cline enough info to handle account-specific logic in your code.
Manage support workflows in Cline
Use `list_articles` to pull documentation into your project. Cline uses this to write better comments and help text for your users. Sorting through incoming noise is simple with `list_tags`. Your agent can categorize conversations based on these tags to keep your inbox clean.
