Real work items in Cursor
This MCP Server connects your editor directly to your accounting firm's live database. Instead of mocking up test data, Cursor runs `list_work_items` to pull actual project structures right into the script you are writing. When you need to test a specific payload, the agent calls `get_work_item` or `list_work_tasks`. It sees the exact JSON schema returned by the API and writes your integration code to match it perfectly.
Automate client records
Writing sync scripts for CRM data usually means guessing at field names. Cursor uses `get_contact` and `list_contact_notes` to inspect real client records before drafting the logic. You can tell the editor to build a function that registers new leads. It will test the logic by firing `create_contact` with the required name and type, ensuring your code works before you deploy it.
Query staff and entities
Building internal dashboards requires an accurate map of your staff and clients. Cursor hits `list_users` to pull your firm's active roster and formats that data into your frontend components. It handles the client side just as easily. The agent runs `list_organizations` and `list_people` to grab separate entity types, letting you code filtering logic based on actual firm data.
