Connect Karbon MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect Karbon to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Team-wide MCP Server access
The Karbon integration gives your entire dev team access to the same accounting data inside VS Code Copilot. When someone asks about a client setup, the agent runs `get_contact` and pulls the exact details into the chat. You commit the configuration to your repository. Every engineer who pulls the repo immediately gets access to `list_contacts` and `list_contact_notes`, keeping everyone on the exact same page without sharing API keys manually.
Build project syncs
Writing internal tools requires knowing how your firm actually tracks work. Copilot uses `list_work_items` to show you active engagements and `list_work_tasks` to break down the individual steps. You can instruct the agent to prototype an update script. It will use `update_work_item` to test the logic against a staging project, or `create_work_item` to spin up a fresh test case right from your editor.
Map firm users and clients
Building assignment logic into your internal apps is faster when you have real user data. Copilot hits `list_users` to grab your firm's member list and writes the mapping functions based on those actual IDs. It handles client categorization the exact same way. The agent calls `list_organizations` for corporate accounts and `list_people` for individuals, letting you build accurate data models in seconds.
