Terminal-based artist verification with Claude Code
`get_artist` fetches detailed biographical info, origin countries, and active lifespans directly to your terminal. Claude Code executes this command headlessly, letting you pipe the raw JSON output straight into local configuration files. If you are scripting a bulk migration, the tool returns precise disambiguation comments to prevent name clashes. Automate these checks in your deployment scripts to ensure your database holds clean records.
Scripted release tracking via MCP Server
`get_release` extracts complete track listings, barcodes, and label attributions in a single command-line execution. Claude Code parses this data to verify physical album details without requiring a web browser. When managing complex multi-disc albums, the tool retrieves exact media formats and disc IDs. Run automated shell loops that verify your audio file structures match the official release schema.
Fast catalog lookups for terminal workflows
`search_recordings` enables Claude Code to locate specific audio tracks, durations, and matching ISRCs through standard CLI inputs. The terminal agent uses these unique identifiers to tie audio files to their canonical releases. Integrate this tool into your server-side scripts to automatically tag incoming music files based on their duration and title. This eliminates manual tagging errors during large-scale server migrations.
