Connect myDevices MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect myDevices to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build live IoT dashboards with Cline
Cline doesn't just write code; it pulls actual physical data to build functional interfaces. The agent calls `list_devices` and `list_sensors` to discover your myDevices hardware, then writes the React or Vue components to display them. It uses live telemetry from `get_sensor_data` to populate your UI with real-world values. You get a working dashboard connected to your myDevices assets without manual API integration.
Debug physical hardware using this MCP Server
When a myDevices installation acts up, Cline helps you trace the root cause. The agent pulls active errors using `list_alerts` and matches them against device metadata retrieved via `get_device`. By analyzing this data alongside your local workspace files, Cline can pinpoint if a bug is in your firmware or the myDevices cloud configuration. It bridges the gap between hardware telemetry and your local code.
Execute remote hardware commands
Testing remote hardware usually requires jumping between terminal windows and web consoles. This MCP utility lets Cline transmit physical payloads directly to your devices using `send_command` from your editor. The Cline agent verifies execution by checking `get_sensor_history` to see if the hardware state changed. This makes testing myDevices edge assets as simple as writing a unit test.
