Connect NewsAPI MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect NewsAPI to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Autonomous news discovery with Windsurf
Cascade reads your codebase and decides when to trigger `get_headlines_by_category` to keep your dashboard current. It doesn't wait for your next command to fetch the latest data. Once the data lands, Windsurf chains the output into your existing files. You define the goal, and it executes the tool sequence to populate your UI components.
Targeted source filtering for your project
Stop digging through noise by using `get_headlines_by_source` to isolate data from specific outlets. Cascade ensures the incoming stream matches your project requirements. It handles the API interaction behind the scenes, so you don't waste time on manual requests. You get the exact coverage you need, exactly where your code lives.
Historical data analysis workflows
Trigger `search_articles` to pull historical context for your features. Cascade parses the results and maps them into your documentation or test suites automatically. This moves beyond simple data retrieval. It integrates the findings directly into your logic, letting you test how your application handles specific real-world event sequences.
