How to Use the Nuclino MCP in Cline
Cline doesn't just read your docs—it updates them. Connect your Nuclino workspace and let your agent write your project wiki.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Nuclino MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Nuclino to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline manages your knowledge base
Cline uses `list_workspaces` to scan your account and map out where your documentation lives. It pulls the current state of any page with `get_item` so it has the full context before writing. Once the agent has the context, it uses `update_item` to patch your markdown directly. It keeps your project docs in sync with your code changes.
Autonomous wiki generation
You tell Cline to build a new page and it uses `create_item` to put it in the right collection. It identifies the correct workspace using `list_teams` so you never have to worry about where things go. The agent uses `list_fields` to make sure your new pages follow the correct format. It does the heavy lifting of keeping your wiki structured.
Deep search capabilities for Cline
Finding specific info in a massive wiki is a pain. Cline uses `search_items` to scan your entire organization for relevant pages instantly. It returns the specific UUIDs and titles so you can jump straight to the content. No more clicking through folders to find what you need.
