…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect TomTom MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect TomTom to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate Code for Complex Routing
Need to build a feature that calculates optimal travel paths? The `calculate_route` tool returns the necessary polyline and summary, which you can immediately inject into your working code. It handles time budgets between two points. This is ideal when writing functions that depend on real-world geographic data. Your agent calls the function, gets a live API response, and you write against it—no stubs needed.
Geocode Addresses into Working Variables
Don't hardcode coordinates if you're dealing with addresses in your project. Use `fuzzy_geocoding` to convert a raw street string into usable geographic variables. It’s smart enough to handle common errors. Alternatively, if your input is perfectly structured (country code, postal code), run `structured_geocoding`. Both methods give you the precise coordinates needed for mapping logic.
Check Live Traffic and Road Conditions
Building an app that relies on real-time travel time? You'll need to check traffic. Use `get_traffic_incidents` by passing a min/max bounding box, which tells you if there are any active issues in that area. To monitor specific stretches of road, call `get_traffic_flow_segment`. This provides the current speed and quality data for a given set of coordinates.
